We have a reunion with my maternal grandmother's family every year. The reunion is held in the old Whitehead School where Grandma attended school in the 1920s and later taught in the 1930s. This year our family celebrated what would have been the 100th anniversary of my great-grandfather completing the family home, which no longer stands. Here's the house rendered in sugar... Bet great-grandpa never thought of that!
