For starters, Ezra has been working hard on the roll-over. He's not mastered it yet, but we're sure it will be any day.

Week of Fun (part 1)
So we decided to do a "stay-cation" (to use the fashionable new word) this week. We're only half-way through the week, but I thought I should give you some updates on all the fun - before I'm too tired to type.
For starters, Ezra has been working hard on the roll-over. He's not mastered it yet, but we're sure it will be any day.
As Ezra progresses, has Eli regressed? No, but he can't understand why he can't do whatever Ezra does including sitting in Ezra's seat.
Ezra has good head control most of the time now, so he's able to use the orange seat. The wheel of wonder is so much fun.
And for a little contrast, here is Eli at about the same age.
We've been on innumerable picnics already this week. Here's one out at Pandapas Pond. Eli's potty training is finally seeing progress. I'll spare him some details about this incident, but suffice it to say that passers-by thought this was very funny.
Another fun outing was a trip to Claytor Lake - there are boats there!! I'll use the word picnic loosely here since Eli spent his whole time on the dock, not eating.
So stay tuned for part two of our adventures to come....

New Photos
So now that Eli has Ezra's cold it seems like a good time to share some photos that do not include children with snotty noses. We had these taken recently and there are lots of good ones, but here are a few I love.

P.S. for those of you in our area, the photos were taken by Laura at Laura's Focus and we really recommend her!

Poor Baby!
Poor Ezra has his first cold. For a baby who thinks pretty much everything is funny, he can't believe how un-funny this is. How could those germs attack such a cute little nose?
In happier happenings, I hope you like our blog's new color scheme. Those of you who know us well won't be surprised that Chris had designed the former clean white scheme. He was very skeptical about any fancy changes, but I did manage to get an "it's alright" out of him about the new look. The blue was inspired by our blue-eyed boys. I'm looking forward to hearing from all of you with the new "comments" feature!

Three Months
Ezra was three months old on Friday and he's getting so big! He can hold his head up and loves to "talk" to us. He smiles a lot too - see for yourself...

Eli is working on potty training, but so far it is a no-go (figuratively and literally). The biggest problem is that he is way too busy to take time out for the potty. Well, really, a fireman's work is never done.
