It Doesn't Get Much Better
There isn't much in the way of news to report right now, but somehow this has been a wonderful period for us to really enjoy our beautiful baby boy. He is truly wonderful. Eli is growing so fast and he changes so quickly. He's still not mastered rolling over in both directions, but he's working pretty hard on sitting up by himself. He jabbers, squeals, and LOVES to make 'raspberry' noises. He's a very happy baby. He sits in his seat waiting for us to look at him and say "HI." He knows this is the cue for a big smile.
He's gotten very curious about things and he has fully mastered reaching out and grabbing stuff - everything, actually including, but not limited to, Chris' glasses, my hair, our noses, the coffee pot, the diaper pail, the cats (they have so far been too quick for him), Eli's own feet, the stack of wash clothes on the changing table, and the newspaper.
I call this one, attack of the curious baby - this is what we see a lot of these days.
